I have a theory
Blog novelty has worn off.
Since nearly everyone in the world has a blog now, blogs on the whole have become mundane and there are very few people who are still interested in them. I mean, does anyone really care what some guy in Paducah happens to think about Neil Young, or what some drunkard in a wet t-shirt looked like at a frat party the night before? I don't know. I do like a good sports-reporter blog that gives me behind the scenes info on the goings on at an NFL training camp. I guess it's all relative.
I'm sure I'll continue to contribute to the big sea of blogs out there, with my own insignificant ramblings. Once I start something I have to finish it anyway; otherwise it will gnaw at me until I'm a big bloody pulp and no one wants to see that.
Rick wants me to add a new personality page on mix1029.com that would incorporate blogs, pictures, and other fun stuff instead of the basic bio that's up there now. We would put Videos on Demand, Music on Demand, and other cool links at the bottom, so there would be more to do than just skim quickly and go away. I think that would be groovy. Interactive is good. If I can find the time to build the page, we'll have it up in the next couple of weeks. Then this blog may go away, we'll see.
There, I just wrote a blog about blogs. New heights of insignificance I tell ya.
Just to make it interesting...cheddar cheese! There's at least one compelling thought.
